Am I going too overboard on my #AltText descriptions?

Ever since I've joined Mastodon I've been camel-casing hashtags and adding alt text to all media uploads (even back at that other place; yes I still have an account there), and my inner perfectionist, while I try to be succinct, likes to be as comprehensive as possible and describe every detail of the media.

I also worry that too long of alt text might bore some people; any #FediTips would be greatly appreciated! #Accessibility #Accessible
