The sixth giant was found a kilometre in a bush track hugging a tree in front of an open field.

There were a lot of Christmas spiders (Austracantha Minax) which did a great job at keeping the bugs away!

Knockout: A brand new kangaroo character, he’s a boxer who stands for justice and kicks discrimination in the bin!

MOULE: A blue mule character who likes multigenre music, getting meta, and talking in third person! Was the last set since my badgering perfectionist brain spent AGES trying to get a front-facing MOULE just right, all his depictions are viewed from side 😂

Another thing I LOVE about is how searches for phrases in posts were deliberately excluded, and not just to stop harassment – it also stops bot spam.

Back on the , especially in its and corners, you'd get comments and DMs from bot accounts if you included phrases like "I need new music", "NFT", "Crypto" because they search by keywords, but over here you only search by hashtags you include in your toots or very specific toot URLs which I love!

I designed Æmber mid 2021 and for over a year couldn’t decide on Æmber’s name. It was only last month I came up with “Amber” or “Ember” due to the prominent orange. I couldn’t decide, so I came up with “Æmber”. Sounds even cooler to be honest! 🏀🦡

Am I going too overboard on my descriptions?

Ever since I've joined Mastodon I've been camel-casing hashtags and adding alt text to all media uploads (even back at that other place; yes I still have an account there), and my inner perfectionist, while I try to be succinct, likes to be as comprehensive as possible and describe every detail of the media.

I also worry that too long of alt text might bore some people; any would be greatly appreciated!

Very proud of myself as an today — on December 27 I set a challenge to make 10 for each of 34 I have and one month later I finally finished them all 🥳

My next step is exporting them from Assembly, the graphic design app for iOS I use, individually as high-quality PNGs for t-shirt, mug etc. designs on , and then using to bulk-convert them all to 256x256 for use on messaging apps! 👍

The third giant, Vivi Cirklestone, was found resting in Coodanup near the Estuary, a place famous for crab fishing.

I’ve found when my brain is in the “flow” state when I do repetitive tasks like cycling or cleaning, my brain also enters a state and comes up with melodies and ideas I mostly forget to write down and don’t have the time yet to do! 😂
